HEPA Upgrade Solution for HVAC Systems

You want to replace your air filters in your existing heating, ventilation or air conditioning system with the best-in-class HEPA air filters for removing viruses and bacteria?

Our HEPA level upgrade solution for HVAC systems are the perfect choice. Our products enable you to upgrade existing systems with HEPA filters using our proprietary nanofiber media.

They massively improve contamination protection, and give peace of mind to your guests, customers and employees.

Compared to classic HEPA filters made of micro glass fiber, our virus filters with made from nanofiber media are characterized by a low pressure drop. In addition, they are available in standard dimensions and meet all safety requirements, in particular the fire protection regulation according to EN 15423. This way, no reconfiguration is necessary. Your energy costs remain roughly the same as before the conversion and upgrade, making this a simple, energy-efficient way to ensure maximum protection in cleanroom air quality.

Highly efficient E12 HEPA virus filters with nanofiber media capture viruses (including their mutations), bacteria and other microorganisms.

VerdexAir® vs Competitors

Untitled.png

Many filter manufacturers only offer micro glass fiber HEPA air filters for commercial and industrial applications. While these may improve the air quality, they usually cause a higher pressure drop than standard HVAC filters because they are not designed for use in buildings.

The result? Major conversion work on your ventilation systems, which makes this method of upgrading a HVAC system time-consuming and very expensive.

Thus, most HEPA filters for clean room quality air may not be attractive from a financial perspective.

Virus Free Buildings

In times of a pandemic, the regular filter set-up will no longer be sufficiently effective. Standard HVAC filters are not designed to safely capture viruses and bacteria.

VerdexAir® provides innovative Nanofiber HEPA level filtration that captures 99.9% of viruses.

Healthy Air can become a reality without major system changes or reconfigurations or downtimes.

Cuts Energy Costs by 60%

The life cycle cost of a filter can be broken down as depicted in the right figure. The initial investment includes the capital cost of the filter, frame and installation, and contributes about 6%.

Further costs to be considered are maintenance cost, which represents the cost of replacement filters and labor, and cost to dispose of the used filters.

By far the largest cost contribution however, is the energy cost of the system necessary to power the fan, making up 76% of the total cost.

Energy consumption of a VerdexAir Filter made from Verdex 3D nanofibers is approximately 40% lower than with a traditional HEPA filter of the same efficiency rating.

This energy savings directly translates into a 60% cost savings, allowing significant monetary savings potential for building installations requiring a multitude of filters.
